Legendary singers Mohammad Rafi and Mahendra Kapoor have only ever sung one song together in their entire career.

Audiences were enthralled by their number, 'Kaisi haseen aaj bahaaron ki raat hai', in the 1986 film Aadmi, which featured Dilip Kumar, Waheeda Rehman and Manoj Kumar.

After 24 years, their sons - Rohan Kapoor and Shahid Rafi, will be coming together to sing that same song together. The music for Aadmi had been composed by the legendary Naushad Ali.

Rohan and Shahid will be performing this song at a concert to be held in Naushad's memory today. Rohan states that every year on May 5, a concert in Naushad Ali's memory is held at Bandra. This year the organizers invited him to sing too.

As Shahid was also present at the organizers' meeting, they came up with the idea of singing together. 'Kaisi haseen aaj bahaaron ki raat hai' was an extremely popular song, and it was the obvious choice for the occasion.
